SAN FRANCISCO – The University of California San Francisco Ray and Dagmar Dolby Regeneration Medicine Building received multiple awards from the AIA, the most recent being the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter 2011 Design Awards. This innovative project fosters strong interaction between researchers, and sets a high standard for new laboratories, recently receiving LEED Gold certification. The steeply sloping, narrow site provided many unique challenges to the team, who were able to successfully execute the project on an accelerated building schedule.
