Archtober 2019’s Building of the Day Registration is now open. Organized by the Center for Architecture, the tours are part of a month-long festival of architecture activities, programs, and exhibitions across New York city’s five boroughs. The building of the day on 2nd October will be the Rafael Viñoly Architects-designed, Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Join representatives from the Museum and Rafael Viñoly Architects’ Andrea Lamberti for a guided tour of interior and outdoor spaces, and learn more about the thinking and concept behind the unique structure that differs from its context, in color as well as physical form, yet remains welcoming and deferential to the museum’s existing built environment.
