The firm’s day to day work falls into three broad categorizations: Design, Operations, and Growth. While Bassam and Jim take primary responsibility for Design, Román for Growth, and Stephanie for Operations, the Partners share accountability across all the firm’s areas of activity.
Nothing of any importance happens at Viñoly without all the Partners being aware of it. Directors surface critical information from their primary areas of responsibility as needed and extensive weekly meetings of the Partners and Directors provides a regular opportunity to monitor design progress and proactively anticipate critical project issues including misalignments with clients, staff planning, budget compliance, coordination, and project management.
