We are proud to announce The Rockefeller University Stavros Niarchos Foundation – David Rockefeller River Campus was awarded The American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2023 Architecture Award. The distinguished AIA Honor Awards program celebrates excellence in contemporary architecture and the people behind them and highlights the many ways the built environment can improve our lives.
Designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects, the River Campus features a new laboratory, educational and campus life facilities that are accommodated in a horizontal expansion that bridges over an adjacent parkway in New York City and generously extends the University’s landmarked gardens to the edge of the East River.
