New York Yimby recently reported on the construction progress of 1185 Broadway, home to New York City’s newest Ritz Carlton Hotel. The Rafael Viñoly Architects-designed tower’s superstructure is nearing its 580-foot pinnacle, and the curtain wall installation has been progressing rapidly as seen in these photos by Tectonic Photo.
Located in New York City’s NoMad neighborhood, the tower will feature 250 hotel rooms, 16 branded residences, renowned Ritz-Carlton amenities and services, a rooftop bar, a large public garden, and open terraces that will feature greenery and trees. Scheduled for completion in 2021, the tower will offer guests and residents striking views of the Empire State Building and downtown Manhattan.
