Ritz Carlton New York, Nomad ground breaking

Marriott International, Flag Luxury and Rafael Viñoly Architects broke ground yesterday on the Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, a new tower that will pay homage to Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood’s storied history while also creating a new landmark that speaks to its exciting future.

Rising at 1185 Broadway at 28th Street in New York City, the Rafael Viñoly Architects-designed tower will feature 250 hotel rooms, 16 branded residences, renowned Ritz-Carlton amenities and services, a rooftop bar, a large public garden, and open terraces that will feature greenery and trees. Scheduled for completion in 2021, the tower will soar more than 500 feet high and will offer guests and residents striking views of the Empire State Building and downtown Manhattan.
