On June 29th, 2017, Chan-li Lin will speak at Transformative Visions for Resilience, a conference in Chicago organized by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Illinois and the AIA Chicago on design innovation at a variety of scales. Mr. Lin will present The Hills at Vallco, a 769,140-square-meter mixed-use complex under a fully accessible 30-acre green roof in Cupertino, California, followed by a panel discussion, moderated by Matthew Messner, The Architect’s Newspaper’s Midwest Editor, on creating smarter buildings, healthier neighborhoods and more resilient cities.
