Rafael Viñoly Joins Panel Discussion in Southampton on June 23

The Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, NY will present the travelling exhibition The Landmarks of New York from June 24-September 4, 2012. The exhibition contains 90 photographs of some of New York’s more than 1,200 landmarks, including such architectural icons as the Woolworth Building, Rockefeller Center, the Plaza Hotel, the Brooklyn Bridge, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, as well as less familiar sites such as the Pieter Claesen Wyckoff House, the Rockefeller Guest House, the Historic Street Lamppost, and the Little Red Lighthouse.

At the opening reception on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 6 pm, Rafael Viñoly will join a panel of award-winning architects, including Richard Meier and Annabelle Selldorf to engage in a discussion considering The Future of the Past, moderated by exhibition curator Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel.
