On October 6th, Rafael Viñoly, Principal and Founder of Viñoly, will join Kevin B. Mahoney, Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Vice Dean for Integrative Services for the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine to speak at the 2014 Tradeline Facility Strategies Conference for Academic Medicine and Allied Health in Boston. Mr. Viñoly and Mr. Mahoney’s talk will examine the programmatic and financial drivers — from integrated-program capital planning strategies to trends in medical education that drive facility design and technology budgets — of Penn Medicine’s Jordan Medical Education Center, a new medical education space that is fully integrated within Penn’s translational medicine facility, the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
The conference is an annual meeting for professionals in academic medical and allied health institutions to exchange experience and ideas for healthcare facility planning, design and implementation.
