This past Tuesday, His Royal Highness, the Duke of York, officially opened the Masdar Building, which houses The University of Manchester’s Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects. The 8,400sqm GEIC building is located on The University of Manchester’s North Campus, which will house pilot production facilities and conduct research into graphene and other advanced materials.
