Beginning on Wednesday, October 13, Rafael Viñoly will share his thoughts on the current state of the architectural discipline, its evolution, approaches to education, and future challenges in a four-part online conversation series organized by the Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, CPAU Professional Council of Architecture and Urbanism and the SCA Central Society of Architects.
The series, held over the course of 4 weeks, will be broadcast live in Spanish and moderated by Ana Rascovsky, Berto González Montaner, María Jesús Huarte, Hernán Maldonado and Tristan Dieguez.

Talk 1: Current Status of the Discipline

The second talk will explore how technological, political, economic and social changes of the past decades have impacted the architectural discipline, and what the key transformative processes that flowed into architecture as a result.
Talk 3: How Architecture is Taught

The third talk will focus on architectural education, from how to teach both formal and tacit knowledge, what level of knowledge and skills a university education should provide, and development through practical learning.

To close the series, the last talk will discuss the challenges that automation and artificial intelligence poses on the architectural discipline and how it will transform the world of design and construction in the coming decades.
