In honor and memory of the late Rafael Viñoly, Christie’s Education has graciously published a 2022 discussion between Mr. Viñoly and Daniella Ohad, Ph.D., host of Architecture: The Legends – a virtual class with the world’s leading architects known for their significant contributions to architecture – for the public to watch online for free.
In the discussion, Rafael articulated his passion for classical music and a unique six-year collaboration to evolve the grand piano; reflected on being an immigrant and how it impacted his life and career; explained concepts behind select projects from his vast portfolio of work; and on creating buildings that people enjoy using.
