On May 14, Rafael Viñoly Architects Partner and AIA New York 2021 President-Elect Andrea Lamberti, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill Partner and AIA New York 2021 President Kenneth A. Lewis, will co-moderate a conversation with former HUD Secretary and OMB Director Shaun Donovan, one of the candidates running for Mayor of New York City, to learn more about his vision on how he will address critical architectural issues in New York City over the coming years.
The event is the first in a series organized by the AIA New York Political Action Fund in preparation for New York City’s pivotal election in this June’s Democratic Primary, which will determine the outcomes of most races, including council members, borough presidents, the comptroller, and the mayor. The series consists of programs with candidates highly rated by AIA New York to discuss the issues that matter to the architectural profession: housing, transportation, sustainability, and more.
