NEMA Chicago named one of the finest efforts of Chicago’s current building boom

The Chicago Tribune’s Architecture Critic, Blair Kamin, reviewed NEMA Chicago, and named it one of the finest efforts of the city’s current building boom.

The Rafael Viñoly Architects-designed, 896-feet tall, tower is nearing completion and set to become Chicago’s tallest rental residential building. The tower rises from the corner of Indiana Avenue and Roosevelt Road and creates a tall southern edge to Grant Park, balancing the mix of heights on the downtown Chicago Loop skyline. All residential units throughout the building benefit from a larger than typical structural bay, a distinction that allows for floor-to-ceiling glass windows with zero sightlines and unparalleled lake and park views.

Residents have access to 70,000 feet of amenities, including outdoor pools, a coworking space, basketball court, boxing gym, sports bar, golf simulator, kids playroom, lounge, and a demonstration kitchen.
