Stephanie Tsang

Partner

Since 2009, Stephanie Tsang has worked at Rafael Viñoly Architects in a broad range of areas across the practice, from project coordination for large and complex international projects over 350,000 gross square meters to oversight of contracts, marketing and graphic design.

Most recently, Stephanie has served as project director for the National Medal of Honor Museum, coordinating the space plan, developing interiors, graphics and signage, and overseeing all client presentations and submissions through the Construction document phase.

Stephanie held a similar role during the programming and design phases on a confidential U.S. corporate headquarters for over 3,000 office workers. For this project she developed the space plan, coordinated the submission of the campus master plan and rezoning, directed user group meetings, managed cost estimate reconciliation, led contractor meetings, coordinated zoning and building code reviews, and maintained the overall project schedule with updates on a weekly basis.

Previously, for the 371,600-square-meter New York University Abu Dhabi campus, Stephanie relocated to Abu Dhabi for two and a half years to manage the production of design workshop presentations and submissions to the client and authorities for sustainability(Estidama), and development (the Urban Planning Council). In liaising with client representatives and preparing presentations, she also developed standards for project documentation and oversaw production of reports. She was responsible for various technical deliverables including the design of the campus signage and wayfinding systems, architectural coordination of electronic security elements, renderings updates, the campus-wide concept for the interior finishes and color palette, and coordination of public realm elements such as site furnishings, landscape, and lighting design.

Stephanie has led production of master plan and space plan reports for research campuses, including The Rockefeller University in New York, and MedImmune in Gaithersburg, MD, and for hospitality and residential clients in the Middle East and United States including Amaris at The Wharf in Washington, DC.

As Partner, Stephanie takes primary responsibility for Operations and leads the contract development, team building and consultant relationships and firmwide staffing.
