Mike Orman AIA

Director

Mike Orman is a seasoned architect and Director at Rafael Viñoly Architects in New York City, where he has spearheaded the design and management of diverse projects since May 2024. With a focus on high-rise residential and hotel developments, Mike collaborates closely with partners to deliver innovative solutions. His role entails overseeing design teams and ensuring seamless coordination with clients, consultants, and construction managers to achieve project success. Prior to his tenure at Rafael Viñoly Architects, Mike served as a Project Manager from April 2019 to April 2024, where he worked directly with senior design partners, including Rafael Viñoly himself, on a range of projects spanning mixed-use developments, residential buildings, and commercial conversions.

Before joining Rafael Viñoly Architects, Mike honed his expertise at SUPERSTRUCTURES Architects + Engineers in New York City, where he led and collaborated on various architectural endeavors from October 2013 to March 2019. Specializing in exterior envelope, restoration, and addition projects for both historic and contemporary buildings, he demonstrated a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence throughout all phases of design and construction. Prior to that, Mike served as a Project Architect at GOSHOW ARCHITECTS, contributing his skills and knowledge to the firm’s architectural endeavors.
