CALIFORNIA -Viñoly’s Kravis Center at Claremont McKenna College in California has been named the 2011 Region’s Best Overall Project and Best Higher Education/Research Project by Engineering News Record. The Silver LEED-certified facility houses classrooms, space for five of the college’s research institutes, and features a series of terraced floors, large courtyards, and an all-glass outdoor “living room” in the center of the U-shaped building
