Tomorrow, October 23rd, Andrea Lamberti, Partner at Viñoly, will speak at the 2014 Municipal Art Society of New York City Summit. Ms. Lamberti’s talk will examine how New York City’s life sciences research and healthcare institutions partner with the City of New York to stimulate economic development, create more livable public environments, and leverage intellectual leadership in achieving scientific and clinical breakthroughs. Ms. Lamberti will present the Rockefeller University Master Plan, designed by Viñoly, as a recent example of this type of partnership.
In its fifth year, the 2014 Summit will focus on the themes of Equity, Place, and Opportunity, addressing the need to create an urban environment that supports economic growth and opportunity while also fostering a sense of place and community. The summit brings together more than 140 speakers representing a range of civic, cultural, social, and economic sectors from across the city, the country, and the world.
